awareness by protecting their health, environment and improving their conditions. It aims to work for the social, economic and educational development of tribal children and their families in tribal areas. Zion Education and Social Welfare Trust is the only organization in that tribal area that is working for more than 25 years. Zion Education and Social Welfare Trust people believe that development of tribal children without refinement of their circumstances is neither conceivable nor sustainable. Development of the tribal children can be sustained only when we bring about changes in the entire socio-economic matrix governing the lives of the poor
through the tool of education and evangelism. The district Collector has certified the school run by Zion Education and Social Welfare Trust as the best school among other schools, including the governmental schools in function there.
In the past 10 years there has been a drastic change in the lifestyle of the people. In the year 1999, a residential center was started for the students. By 2001 evangelism was taken even to the elders in the place. Thus education for the tribal children and the lifestyle of them are getting a new bloom.
